Using placeholders

Placeholders are references to lead, agent, and account data that you include in the subject and text of email notifications. By using placeholders, we are able to personalize emails to include information specific to leads.

Here’s an example of how placeholders are used in an email notification:

Hello {lead:first},My name is {agent:first} and I am pleased to be your point of contact for {account:clinic}. Anything you need to help you as you go through the {lead:map} program, just call me at {agent:phone} and I am happy to help.{lead:first}, I want to personally commend you for taking the first step toward improving your health. I know how hard it can be but the {account:clinic} and I are behind you every step of the way. We will do whatever we can to make your experience wonderful.From all of us at {account:clinic}, welcome.

The placeholders are contained within matched single curly brackets and are, in this example, references to lead, account, and agent properties.
