Setting up Macros

Apply a macroMacros can perform most of the tasks that triggers and automations do except a macro is initiated by the agent not automatically by Influx.Agents access macros from the lead messaging interface.

Building a macro

To build a macro select Macros from the left menu panel in the administration area. This will open the macro list showing all of the active and inactive macros in Influx.

In the top right of the main panel is the add macro link. This will open the macro builder.

Unlike triggers and automations, macros are limited to a single action and do not have any conditions that must be met. The macro is simply a saved version of the action you wish to perform. Macros are most frequently used tasks that are performed frequently but cannot be set as a trigger as there is no specific point in the workflow that the action may be required.

The following table describes the options for your trigger.

Macro Title Unique name for your trigger. Make it easy to identify the trigger function.
Action A single action that the selected macro will perform

Actions

The actions available in a macro are similar to those available in triggers and automations.

Email Sends an email to the lead or another team member
Note Enters a note into the lead record
To-do Sets a to do item for the current agent
Function Performs a system function”

  • Send video access: Sends an email with video access info.
  • Close lead: Closes the lead as lost without comment – notes that it is an auto action
